Qapla’ launches Out of Home delivery services with GEL Proximity technology
The partnership enables online shops and 3PLs already using the Qapla’ platform to take advantage of an extensive European network of Lockers and Pick-up Points via GEL Proximity and to send precise, personalised communications on the status of delivery
Florence, 8 October 2024 – Qapla’, an advanced tracking system for shipments and after-sales communication management, and GEL Proximity, a technology entirely dedicated to Proximity Logistics, announce their integration. This important collaboration represents a significant step forward for both players, with the common goal of improving the online shopping experience for consumers and optimising costs and activities related to Last Mile Logistics.
The integration will allow all online shops and 3PLs already using the Qapla’ platform to access the European networks of Pick-up Points and Lockers via GEL Proximity, expanding delivery and collection options for end customers and improving the transparency and efficiency of the shipping process. Qapla’, known for its ability to centrally manage and customise communications with customers throughout the shipping journey, will now be able to enrich its offering with GEL Proximity’s Out of Home Logistics services. With a network of more than 200,000 Pickup Points and Lockers spread across Europe, it offers consumers the ability to choose from an interactive map when and where to pick up or return their purchases. In addition, the integration of the platforms will enable merchants to send up-to-date, accurate and functional e-mails for the collection of Out of Home orders.
