GEL Proximity presents the module for offering “out of home” logistics solutions extended to all versions of Shopify
Connecting GEL Proximity to Shopify shops is finally possible thanks to the free module available for Shopify, Advanced and Plus plans. As of today, all you need to do is download the certified GEL Proximity module from Shopify’s App Store to allow your customers to ship and return to tens of thousands of national and international Pickup Points.
GEL Proximity includes all the main ‘out of home’ parcel logistics solutions for shipping and returns in Europe, allowing consumers to decide for themselves where and when to collect or return their purchases. More than 200.000 Pick-up and Locker Points can be activated, proprietary Retail Points can be created in Click & Collect mode, and automatisms can be associated to better manage Proximity Logistics.
GEL Proximity’s technology is designed to reduce the abandonment rate at the check-out and helps to optimise logistics costs thanks to the wide range of alternatives to home delivery by favouring the parcel collection system. The issue of economic, but above all environmental, sustainability is relevant for GEL Proximity, which has always been actively engaged in the construction of technologies aimed at reducing emissions and urban congestion related to deliveries.
