The City of Milan will support GEL Proximity, which has been recognized by the Urban Economy and Labor Directorate as one of the 20 Milanese Startups able to make a concrete contribution to the City of Milan’s adaptation strategy to the Covid 19 crisis.
The impact of the winning companies of the Startup for Milan 2020 call for proposals will have to help the city’s fabric restart also thanks to a reorganization of metropolitan logics towards a Smart Mobility that produces economy with an eye to sustainability and respect for the environment.
To help realize this strategy, the Milan administration intends to focus on the contribution of innovative start-ups to launch a new cycle of innovation and opportunity. Not only to create jobs and drive recovery in the post-Covid-19 phase, but also to turn the ongoing epidemiological crisis into an opportunity to “rethink the way services are organized and break established practices and patterns.”
